Don’t Cry Hun, Your Make-Up Costs Too Much

‘You wear too much make up’

‘Your contour is too heavy’

‘You spend too much time time on your make up’

‘You spend too much money on make up’

IF YOU HAVE ANYONE IN YOUR LIFE THAT SAYS ANY OF THE ABOVE TO YOU – CUT THEM OUT OF YOUR LIFE. – You don’t need those negative people in your lives. You need to find friends that are going to be supportive of your make up choices.

I personally have enough makeup to set up my own store. Lipsticks, foundations, blushes, mascaras, eye shadows – The whole Shebang. I don’t trust anyone who doesn’t carry at least 3 lipsticks in there handbag. (I carry 7). When I get ready to go out for a night with the girls, I will take 2/3 bags just full of makeup. All my friends love it when I say I’m coming over to get ready as they know that I will share my makeup with them. Not to mention I will use them as a portrait. I will literally grab there face and attack them with makeup. They have no choice in the matter!

If your dedicated to makeup you’ll understand and appreciate the amount of time it takes. You have to learn which colours suit you, look at all the reviews of the product. It’s not as easy as everyone thinks.

I have never been critized how long it takes me to get ready.  My boyfriend, my family, no one even says a word because I look absolutely fabulous afterwards (I know sounding a little up myself there). It can sometimes take me 2/3 hours to get ready, however this is a full face of makeup – You know, winged smokey eyes. On a normal day, just going out for lunch or shopping, I can take me 20 minutes to an hour. – I’m a lucky girl, my boyfriend understands why it takes so long! I’ve even trusted him to go out and buy my foundation! (I know, scary).

Girls that wear makeup get a really silly stereotype – ‘Oh she’s wearing too much makeup, she’s looking for attention’ – This is a load of rubbish and is an awful statement. For me, it’s a form of art. The amount of time and effort it takes to get it right. Not to mention takes time to become good at it. I use makeup, yes to make myself feel confident. I don’tthink that’s a bad thing. I mean, batman puts his mask on. When I put my makeup on, it’s like my armour for the day. Makes me feel as though I can go and face anything. Plus if I get upset or annoyed or something bad happens, I remember that it took me 2 hours to get ready and my makeup costs too much.

Don’t waste your makeup honey – It costs too much.

Much Love,
